Company History
SeaSpine was founded in 2002 by a small group of private investors with the goal to commercialize several innovative patents in the field of spine fusion. SeaSpine’s first product, the UCR System, was launched in the fourth quarter of 2002.
Following the successful launch of UCR, SeaSpine focused on expanding its product portfolio in the cervical and anterior column markets. Setting a pace of two to three new product launches each year, SeaSpine now has an extensive product offering for all the major spinal fusion procedures being performed today.
In the 4th quarter of 2004, SeaSpine expanded its operations and moved into a brand new 22,000 square foot facility located in Vista, California. Using our Sustainable Growth Business Model, SeaSpine has grown its revenue by more than fifty percent each year since inception and has operated profitably every year.
