Quality Control Inspector

Primary Responsibilities:
1. Performs and documents final mechanical inspections to established procedures.
2. Labels and packages products in a control environment.
3. Accurately completes work travelers and inspection reports.
4. Conducts device history review processes to established procedures.
5. Performs product identification measurements to established print requirements.
6. Verifies product label information and contents to appropriate specifications.
7. Organizes and reports Final Inspection results.
8. Identifies and issues non-conforming product reports.
9. Serves as the technical knowledge resource for the other QC inspectors.

General Skill and Experience Required:
1. Must have demonstrated ability to use calipers, micrometers, optical comparator, pin/depth/hex gauges, scales, digital imaging system and other standard mechanical inspection tools.
2. Must be able to read, analyze and interpret blueprints, GD&T, work instructions, engineering specifications and inspection documents.
3. Experience with writing non-conformance reports.
4. A minimum of 3 years experience with product inspection methods and limitations of those methods.
5. Able to perform detailed dimensional and cosmetic inspection techniques on products.
6. Must be able to communicate technical information, both verbal and written.
7. Must be able to accurately perform visual inspection of laser markings and other detail features.
8. Must be able to lift up to 45 lbs.
9. Must have demonstrated ability to use shop math techniques (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division of decimals and fractions).
10. Must be a team player, customer service oriented, willing to learn, and able to work flexible hours.
11. Ability to use standard computer software i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook.
